Sacramento Gateway Free Concert Featuring Clean Slate 7-9 p.m. Originally formed in 1974, Clean Slate was inspired by the likes of Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, AWB, Spinners, Aretha Franklin, James Brown and many other artists that are now considered “old school.” Honoring the many influential artists of the 70’s, Clean Slate delivers the ultimate show band experience blended with the best dance music of the last five decades. Clean Slate is comprised of ten professional musicians dedicated to delivering a high energy show that leaves its audiences wanting the performance to never end. Powerful vocals, a tight horn section, and a funky rhythm section enable Clean Slate to deliver a wide range of music genres from Big Band, Soul, Country, R&B and Pop. Food and Beverage Snacks, dinner and desserts are available from local restaurants. A Beer and Wine Garden will also be available for guests to enjoy. Street Fair, 6 p.m. Local professional sports teams, retailers, and local businesses with sidewalk sales and giveaways. Kid's Zone features face painters and balloon artists, games and prize giveaways to entertain the kids.
